front dune tires
#1
The tire shop just mounted my gbc dune trackers with the sharp side of the rib on the out side. It looks wrong but I'm not sure that it is. In a turn the inside tire will slide and the outside will dig in. In theary don't you want the inside to bite? HELP We leave for Oregon this week, my time is running out.
Any help would be apprecated.

If you take a sharp left turn the lateral force of the bike gets transfered to the right side of the quad making the tires on that side dig in. You want the straight side of your rib towards the outside of the quad for this reason. Having the straight edge on the inside of your tires wouldn't do much good because theres not enough weight on the inside tire through a turn to get much traction.

If you want a little bit more responsiveness from your front tires in a turn, tap the front brakes when you are in the first half of your turn. With a little practice it makes a big diffrence.

You can def tell a big diff. The first time i rode with razorbacks i took a turn like I normally would have and instead it ended pitching me over. straight tracking is a lot easier
