Default dune trackers: is bigger better?

i have a 300EX and i'm looking for dune tires in front. i have the 20" sand shark paddles in back, and i'm wondering if i should go with 20" dune trackers in front, or would it be better/worse to get the 22"?

I have 20 inch haulers in the rear and 22 inch shark fins in the front and everything seems to be workin out good for me.

crobiker- i would get a front tire that is as wide as possible because a wider front tire with enough air pressure will help to float the front end out of the sand which means less resistance and drag and all of that translates into better performance.keep in mind that a taller tire in front will have a slight effect on how easy your front end will come up and by that i mean that because your back would be lower in relation to the front with a taller front tire you would be changing the angle your quad sits at on level ground.i personally prefer to set mine up with a tall front tire and a stock or slightly lower height in the rear but that is just my preference.

ok, thanx for the info. i figured that the taller fronts would affect my wheelies but i don't usually drag so it shouldn't be a problem.

wildchild660r- i dont stay at honeyman so i dont know about the camping situation but you could pm sandman 430 and ask him because he stays there quite a bit and would probably have the info you need.

I like the 22" Dunetrackers, but then my DS is considerably larger than a 300EX.
