Default Building a dune machine

Im building a dune machine and wondering what i need for my 400ex to make it a duner.

paddle tires #1, air filter mods, maybe some nerfs if you are gonna be jumping, pipe

paddles #1 K&N air box lid off add a header and pipe rejet it. that min stuff that should be done if you wanta get around good

Well I should have $1000 coming too me. I plan on getting stage 2 hotcam, wb rev limiter, wb or ct racing exhaust, and douglas aluminum rims and paddles. ANything else i should get while i am at it???

The stage 2 cam might be too much unless you do head porting and raise compression. Too much cam without the complementary mods will be worse than stock. Check what the Hotcams guys say when you order.

stage 2 cam is bad for dunes. i have a stage 1 in my 400EX and i can climb any dune at pismo (i know, they rn't that big, but still...) in first gear w/o gettin a run at it. paddles r a must. razorbacks in front will be nice if u have the x-tra cash. pipe, re-jet, air filter, air box lid gone, nerf bars, and maybe an extended swing arm would have u set w/o usin all ur cash.

Well i want to drag it mostly maybe climb some hills. So thats why i was thinking stage 2 hotcam.
