I have posted in another thread that I would like to put a 500cc Artic cat motor in a small rail of some sort. Does anyone have any recomendations on frame kits? I would like a little more travel in the suuspension than your average odysey but I want something close to that size. Any other sources or books? This is my first stab at a prodject like this,any help would be great!!

Those short cars really run too. There is sandbullet also that makes mini rails. And there are a couple of other builders but I cant think of their names off the top of my head.

There are really no books for a project like this, there are a couple of books about the vw based sand rails. One is baja bugs and buggies and I cant remember the other names.

Should be a fun project, have fun.

Tom Pro in bakersfield ca. makes cars similar to the short cars. I'm trying to get a web site for them but can't find one. Called them twice and was given tom pro designs but no luck. I've narrowed it down to those two for me. You could also try drakart, they use watercraft and snowmobile power.

Thanks Suzuki kid, I have looked at those and talked to the owner (seems like a stand up guy).
I like them a bunch and I'm leaning that direction.
