Hey guys I took off work for three day to ride with my buddies, Mark & Jeff! Mark just picked up his new Raptor last week and his buddy Jeff came from out of town to ride!

The first day we took a 139 mile ride on a sand dirt lava road 3' from the border fence! We road all the way from El Paso to Columbus, NM which is due west of El Paso.

The second day we rode to the Craters north west of El Paso and then back out the what we call the wall with lots of sand hills to climb. And we did a lot of boon docking in the desert along the way!

Day Three we went out to Red Sands and road the dunes and trails.

What a great time!

That is some great fun. I grew up in El Paso. Really Canutillo, we were like one of the only white families out there at the time. We would ride behind La Union, Annapra, and Santa Terresa. There used to be a hill out there called Bull Taco. So steep it was a little concave. Good Times!!!

 

Yep! Bultaco Hill is still there! The local riders have chaned the name over the years. Some guys call it "Surfers" , others now just call the whole section along the bluff "The Wall"! I bet a lot of them don't even know what a Bultaco is! (LOL)
