How much does it cost to register a new quad in Utah? I am going to buy a new P650 in Colorado, and bring it back to California, getting a real good deal. I have some brother's in law in Utah, and I could register it at their address. I'm only asking, because it is SO expensive here. Also, can they be ridden here in Ca., with the out of state registration? Need info![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

You will pay about 6.35% sales tax. Then you will have to register it every year for a fee. The fee is based on the value. 5000 dollar value after one year is about 80 bucks..

 

You might as well pay the Calif. sales tax, and $20 every two years, to register it here. You need an out of state sticker, to ride a bike registered out of state, here in Calif. Can't remember the cost????
