GOIN to the DUNES...need HELP
#1
over spring break my dad and i are going to some sand dunes in arizona. we have only had the quads for a couple of months and only ridden on forest trails. i know we need to rejet for the altitude and temperature changes, but what is the best way to do that...dial-a-jet or new jet??? also, we need to know what kinds of spare parts should we buy and take with us? what is most prone to breaking that we might need to replace...what tools? also, what is the best performance intake for the V-FORCE? lastly, does anyone know of any way to temporarily repair the plastics on my quad? i have a partial break on the rear fender and i dont want it to spread but i also dont want to replace it yet?
thanks everyone in advance
sorry if my questions are lame

Take a good set of tools-metric in your case. Air pump. As far as plastic goes let it go, and get the lava orange when your finally sick of how bad the crack is. jk The zip tie trick work ok.

It depends on what altitude you will be riding at in AZ, I'm not familar with the 700 but I know my DS (when running the stock carb) would want a fatter jet if I was going below say 2500" probably only change one jet size, since your machine is apparently stock I would just go to where you bought your quad and tell them what altitude your going to be riding at and they will sell you the jets you'll need. With a stock new machine I probably wouldn't bring spares unless you know of something prone to breakage

Which dunes in AZ??? None of them are too big so I wouldn't worry about being 20 miles away and breaking down. No Glamis (In CA) is a big area if you went there nad would plan accordingly. Definately jet accordingly - if you are jetted Ok in CO you will definately be pretty lean near sea level.
