Im going to use my prowedges when we go out to the dunes this year. Which direction would be more effective ,the v forward or backward. And what pressure?

WISTECH-I used to run prowedges on my 350 x three wheeler years ago and i ran mine with the v facing to the rear and they seemed to do very well. For pressure i would run about three to four in the dry sand and as much as 6 in the wet sand .

prowedges work awesome in dirt, but they arent beneficial in sand. Running them backwards gives more hook

They work best if you make them dig. Careful on too low pressure. Lots of sidewall there. I have blown them off the rim before.

what is the best way to run them in the dirt? I have been running them backwards but am wondering what will happen if I turn them around so they are going the same direction as the arrow on the side -<-<-<-

You run them in dirt ? Hardpack? I could imagine them lasting more than a ride or 2 before wearing out those tiny paddles or puncturing the casing.

Actually, I have the 4-snows but they are pretty much the same thing. My wife runs them for drag racing her YFZ on dirt and they seem to work pretty good. I also use them in the snow when it starts to get deep.

When I said a ride or 2 I meant a 200mile weekend. Not a 300 foot drag. LOL I have seen people on tv running them backwards drag racing on dirt.
