Actually, I just found out that my wife won't be able to take any time off in May...So it looks like we may be going in July instead, since we are already planning a trip to St. Anthonys in June. What is Florence like on 4th of July weekend? Is it insane there? How many people? How hot is it?

All the very fast toys come out to play at florence on the weekend of the fourth so it is worth going just to see who will be driving what.There are of course quite a few more people on the fourth but it is never so crowded that you cant get away from at least most of the crowd.The weather in july can be anywhere from 60 degrees to as much as 75 or 80 but a ride on the beach is always a good way to cool down.

We do a family trip down there every year over the 4th of July. IT's Great. The town of Florence puts on a nice fireworks show. This year I am going to miss it though..I have to get married[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] I tried to tell he that she planned the wedding during Sand Season[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

See what I'm saying LOL. But we did decide to go to Glamis for Thanksgiving instead...That's an even better start
