ProWedges vs Haulers
#1
Hey gotta question.....
How much better are haulers than the Prowedges fliped backwards in the sand? I ran a set of new Prowedges that I borrowed from a buddy on my Raptor out at the sand bar today.....Man they were awesome!! They pulled like I was on pavement. I had trouble steering and everything. I was hooking up great....pulling wheelies up hillclimbs and everything. I have been riding on a set of Geckos which will never be on my quad again.....I am embarassed to sell them because they suck so much compared to the ProWedges....
Thing is .... I was all set to buy some haulers, and now I am not so sure......If they hook up better than those Prowedges they gotta be awesome.....
Anybody who has rode both let me know something......

The pro wedge is an ohtsu tire. It looks just like the maxxis 4-snow.
Turning it backwards in the sand with the scoops facing forward on the top is a must. The other way would be like putting a paddle tire on backwards.
You turn the pro wedge and 4 snows with the cups forward for sand and snow, and backward for ice and hard flat surfaces. They will disintegrate on pavement and hardpack trails though because of the same soft compound that makes them so good in the snow, ice, and sand.

I have used Pro wedge tires, and they seem useless for any surface other than sand or soft dirt, and especially useless if you turn them around. They do work well in sand though, but still not as good as Haulers

So haulers do hook up better than these Prowedges? You have used both? If so, Haulers gotta be bad...and that is what I'll go with. I've been holding off buying for a while now. Geckos that I currently have were a total waste of time and money....
But I'll have to say those ProWedges blew those Geckos out of the water....they were way better.
