most comfort duner is ds650, the yfz is awesome but the suspension beats you up, not made for dunes, mx tracks. But that can be easily change, just get some tcs or elka triple rates.

 

What about the best 2-stroke Dune ATV? 250R? Banshee? LT250??

 

sell that kfx700 and buy either 450R or yfz450. my buddy has that 700 and all he had was issue's, i was beatin him on my raptor all the time, it is nice because it is automatic but if you are out on the dunes you want to have a manual,

Four stroke? I'm leaning toward the yfz, i perfer smaller bikes compared to monsters

if your going to be hillcliming in the dunes, id say the raptor660, its a TORQUE MONSTER and will get you up alot of steep hills

 

I dunno the YFZ hillclimbs good. A piped,filtered,jetted yfz vs raptor piped,filtered,jetted, the yfz should win if the rider is good. It all matters about the rider.

 

a bone stock yfz will go up a hill better than a piped filtered raptor no problem

 

I spent the better part of the summer riding around the Oregon Coast Dunes, and had ZERO troubles going Up and Over anything there on my KFX700 and won more than my fair share of races. The 450's are great quads, but I feel like I'm on a Yamaha Breeze when I'm on one. You already have a very able Dune Quad in the V, but if you are just looking for change, then any of the new performance oriented 4 Stroke quads will get you most places that you want to go.
