rev box & rectifier

Hey everyone, does anyone have info on a rectifier and how the two would work on a 400EX bored to 440, 11.5:1 compression and stage 1 web cam....

a cdi box will change your timing curve and raise your rev limiter....the way a rectifier works is that once the battery is fully charged it cuts off the charge and sends all the power to the ignition for a hotter spark. The fresher the battery the better a rec will work

YoungDawg-I installed a big gun cdi and a procom engineering rectifier on my wifes 440 ex and although the cdi seems to help especially on the top end the rectifier made a definite improvement in overall performance. We made runs up a fairly steep dune with and without the rectifier and the change was very noticeable when the rectifier was running so if you are on the fence about getting one i would say go for it .
