im looking to get some sand tires to switch on and off my 300ex. what is the difference in buying the kit or just the tires. the tires i want (GBC Sand Shark Paddle Tire) cost like 45 for just the tires but 165 for the kit. can someone please tell me the difference? thanks

 

Tires only come with no rims. You'd have to dismount your regular tires from the stock rims and mount the sand tires on the stock rims. The "kit" would include sand tires mounted on rims (usually aluminum and lighter than stock rims) and ready to be bolted on. Much less hassle this way.
