so i have read on a other board that the two main spots for camping are gecko and washes. gecko is the party one and washes is the family area. is that still true??? looks like i will be camping at the gecko..... who else is camping there???

all i know is in probably not gonna remember alot of the weekend cause im gonna be drunk.im gonna try and hit 100mph at the gecko drags.gotta do some gearing changes for it.

 

mucky you might wanna double that amount of people i have even heard that it can get up to 200,000 people. one big drunk speed party!!!!! cant wait, my ONLY worry is that i wont bring enough beer!!!

 

you can always buy a pack from the glamis store for triple what they cost in town.

 

I bring kegs on holidays. stop by. I dont dune ride on holiday weekends because they are so torn up and packed you cant get a line without runing into another group over every dune. yep drinking and dragging, still fun as hell though. I'll probley be at wash 6 million though I'm always late.

 

a keg might be a way to go, only issue ould be keeping it cold! we are camping so we dont have the luxury as of a motorhome!

 

I rough it most the time too, well a inclosed with cots and aircondition lights and a work bench,lol. I bring dry ice to keep the kegs cold, 20lbs will freeze a keg in a half hour. I did this on accident once, a lot of unhappy campers.lol. I will camp at wash 15 or so. or gecko. not sure yet. I think the washes. you cant miss us. I'm a milk man and we haul our inclosed with a 30 box bobtail milktruck that says ALTADENA all over it. at night I have a red strobe that fell off a fire truck somehow. lol. I want to take a keg to the hill but well see about that one when the time comes. oh and dont go telling everyone. just for peaple I now or a titty show.lol

what is the elavation out at glamis?????? i wanna jet my quad if possible before i head out so i have all the riding time i need. never been to glamis, going for my first time for thanksgiving. thanks
