I heard that no one was drag racing there this past weekend because the rangers are now ticketing loud pipes??? This is BS and was told in person that it was OK just dont do it around the camping area!!! THIS IS GETTING OUT OF CONTROL NOW!!!

I am going to start calling them everyday( The Kiosk at the ramp) and complain!!! If you need the number I will post it.

 

Rap owner .... the drags were going down at Glamis ..... no class, everything goes. Ten bucks lets you line up againts anyone all day long no pipe restrictions and the sand version of the Zambonie flattens the drags ever 6 races ..... nice I tell ya very nice!! sorry to hear about Pismo but like I said before it has gone to the tourist and part time duners. bogus!!

 

$10...I thought Glamis would not authorize events? Or is that an admission fee for everyone?

 

it was a grudge night (which i missed btw [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] ) BLM has approved some organized events in that location before. from what i hear, its a pain to do though.

 

Yeah I like the place but too far for me to go all the time. I go there though to watch the racers every MLK day though. I might be in the next one if I like how my bike runs.

 

also, all day saturday we had the hill drags and not a ranger in site. TONS of unsilenced banshees and about 10 R's as well. we werent holding our ears for fun.


sorry about all this, but the whole point is were in CA too and im positive it gets just as rowdy if not more at G. but maybe thats why we dont get the crack downs. rangers i busy scrapping people up off the ground arresting people for other stupid things.
