Sand Dunes for dummies
#34
I hope I am not repeating this so sorry if I am but remeber that the dunes can change rather quicky especially overnight. Once rounded over hills suddenly can get knarly razors also witches eyes really suck. And riding at noon can be dangerous due to no shadows so be careful. I have crashed and broke ribs before and that was a long long drive home.

out of all sarcasm.....
Sand Dunes... are no place for 'dummies'.
After reading the posts... and the thread topic (title) again....
I couldn't resist.

If you are visiting a place that has a town nearby, show some respect to the locals. Nothing is more offensive than someone who acts like an a$$ or thinks they are better than you while they are visiting your town. Remember, you are a guest, and you are representing the town you live in. Show some class. Avoid playing music loudly and partying until four in the morning while at a rental house or motel, pick up your trash, don't dump your oil on the ground, keep your attitude in check, don't speed in town, don't tailgate old ladies on their way to church, etcetera. I say these things because I see them all too often in Waynoka, especially on holiday weekends. One stupid duner can instantly ruin the reputations of all others in the eyes of locals. You're not in the big city anymore, so don't act like it.
