How ridiculous are these last posts. Why do some of you guys take it personal? Maybe the stock kawy or even just a piped one may not beet your modded rappy but perhaps there are some that have been modded. Anyone who runs a bottle is either got a pretty fast modded up machine or bought it and dosen't know what they are doing and is just a poser. Stock vs. stock the raptor is the better of the 2.

Sorry but there is no way that kawi will beat that sparks raptor...If the kawi was so good more people would ride them at FSW. The sparks raptors are dominant

Also the heigth of a dune dosen't matter as much because the sand can have different charectoristics from one region to the next causing a major difference in traction. On the Oregon coast there are hills that I have climbed ridding double with my 4x4 one time and the next trip down, especially depending on what the weather has been like, couldn't climb with z 400 the next, it all depends on traction avalibility. So my point is comparing Idaho to california to Oregon dunes is silly. Besides I hate it when someone says their quad is the best and gets ripped for their opinon, to each is own, and different styles require different machines.
Well said i don't know why these type of threads always turn into a Pi$$ing match...........but it dose make me laugh

The DS is king! No raptor, yfz or V-Force can beat a DS and I know this because I own a DS so it has to be the fastest thing in the world. Thats how it works right? Jeez people so what if someone has something faster. I an understand talking a little smack for fun but some of you start taking it personal and get your feelings hurt. As long as I have been alive there has always been this Ford is better than Chevy is better than Dodge and the same with bikes and quads, Yamaha is better than Kawasaki is better than Honda. If you own a quad why not just state the features that made you go with that brand and leave the trash talking for the dunes. I own a DS and I can tell you the reason I bought it was because I got a good deal on it and like the size and power. I have No idea how it would do in the sand since we have none around here but I can say it does just fine on the large hills we do have. These type of threads make me laugh too, kinda like watching two kinds arguing " well my daddy can lift 300lbs" ,,, "well my daddy can lift 500lbs".
