ive heard many people say many different things which 4 stroke quad is the best duner ive heard someone say just about all of them anybody out there that can tell me the facts on which is the best one

 

YFZ-450

 

V-Force for sure. Don't have to do that shifting thing, hahaha. Just pin it and go. Doesnt bog down at all either. Put some sand tires on it and climb any dune you want. Does good wheelies in the sand too. Don't have to worry about sand gettin on a chain or wearing out your rear brakes. Internal wet disc brakes and drive shaft baby!!!!

 

id say the ds650, v-force, 450r, banshee, and yfz450. i dont' like the yfz for dunes cuz of it's stiffer suspension, but u can't argue with hp and handling.

 

YFZ450. Rough suspension sure, but a H&ll of a lot of fun

 

All around dune machines would be raptot and z 400

 

I love riding my raptor in the dunes but the yfz450 is a badass machine to ride in the sand. Who said Kawasaki was the best??? An automatic sport quad? Give me a break grandma.....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

 

YFZ if you want pure power and speed without doing engine builds.

Raptor if you want more comfort.

V-Force is nice for cruising but they won't pull the big hills.

 

I'de have to go with the YFZ450. I own one of those machines and it runs great on dunes even though its stock. It handles great and sits wide, really fun on the dunes.

 

Depends on your size and what you want. If your a big guy and/or want a good quad that doesnt beat you to death all day the DS650X is the only way to go for a stock machine. Then Raptor, 450s, and possibly the Vforce
