What's do I need for the L.S. in Oklahoma?

Some buddys and I are planning a trip sometime in April. None of us have never been to the dunes before and are wondering what we will need. We will be camping. Where should we camp? Should we bring gas in gas cans or is there a place to fill up? Restrooms, showers what are the facilities? Paddle Tires what kind to get? there will be two 400exs and two 450rs and we all need sand tires. We plan on purchasing them, just wondering what kind. Somewhere close to 20x11x9. thanks in advance and I hope you can help.

you definatly will want paddles, either order them now, find some on ebay or buy them in waynoka(there are plenty of them available there).bring lots of quarters for the showers, its kinda like a car wash setup quarters buy the water.there is 3 different camping areas.the state run campgrounds are first come first served, little sahara powersports has camp sites that are reservable, and i belive the sand rats have some camping available.gas cans would be handy, gas is available nearby.for some more information go to waynoka.com you guys are gonna have a blast its a fun place, too bad it isnt closer to us.

call Jim at JIMS SAND TOYS,and order your paddle tires. Tell him what you have, and he will match you with the correct tire set-up, his rates are very competitve, and I bet he will give you a discount on multiple sets.
LS has full facility's and a ATV store in camp(south camp ground) if you break down or just want to buy something cool, they can hook you up. Have a great time, and REMEMBER when riding to the NORTH you cannot see were the dunes fall off, so BE CAREFULL!!! they take dozens of poeple out of the dunes on stretchers every year, so ALWAYS ride slowly if you havent been across the area already once that day . the dunes can change in a few hours if the wind is blowing. remeber if you get lost or turned around, the STEEP face of the dunes or North!
have fun.

It doesn't sound like money or time out from school is going to allow me to go now since i have been sick the last week of school. But my brother and two buddys are still going and I will mention the excellent information you guys have shared with me. Thanks a lot guys, i'll have to save up some money for next year. I still like hearing about new places to ride, even though i don't get to go this year I still can drool about next year not to mention i have a few other trips to go on and a promise ring that needs to be purchased for the g/f. First things first!
