you were saying that fmf and some other brands will gauruntee a certain dec. rate. but my uncle was riding the dunes w/ his raptor. he has a fmf powerbomb header with a Q silencer. and after riding hard for a while it got a lot louder.

I was at Horsefalls last year on my 04' Z400 after I had just re-jetted and put a new K&N set up on it. The officer swore up and down that I was way over the limit but stupid me had to argue with him. Just when he was about to test my ride a heavily modified shee rode by and I KNOW he was WAY over the limit. I asked him why he didn't stop him to give him the test and he told me that that rider wasn't the issue. Well to make a long story short, he tested my bike and I ended up being 1db. below the 93 db level. Kind of made him feel like a horse's backside.

I guess what I'm saying is watch out for those officers that give all the good officers a bad name and just want to fill their ticket quota.

I tend to just stay away from anything that MIGHT even look like a USFS officer.

Has anyone had a megamax tested in the quietest form? I only need it under 96 db's.
