We were at Winchester Bay this past week and my son and his friend just got new Blasters. They were completely stock except for sand paddles. I was blown away when I saw this, I was rolling down from top of Banshee Hill when I saw the boys coming up.........They made it all the way to the top..........I was one happy dad

A piped Blaster with an aftermarket filter and properly re-jetted does VERY well in the dunes!
My Ex-girlfriend used to ride hers all over Winchester Bay. She was able to make it up almost everything including Banshee Hill. We joked after that about calling it Blaster hill!!

I'm new to this posting thing - so forgive rookie miskakes: For my daughters, I bought two 2003 blasters - (the year they added disk breaks and made the plastic actually look decent) Anyway, all I added was a K&N and the appropriate re-jet - other than that, they're bone stock, tires and all. When we're at Oregon coast, (Winchester / Florence) I ride those things ALMOST everywhere. Can I get up Banshee hill, NO way. I'm 6'3 - 240. HOWEVER, I CAN get up just about anything else with a good run. Also, at my size, I bet I couldn't go anywhere if I had paddles...it'd be too much traction...I don't think they could turn them. I just go to the dunes for fun - not as hardcore as others. If you're looking to buy new - FOR THE MONEY - you just can't beat those little things. I am amazed at where they can go.
