Really had a great time! It's a unique experience for a So. Californian to ride dunes with trees and woods trails. The trail riding was my favorite, as we have precious little woods riding around here. And the cold weather was a great relief from the 100 degree stuff that we are having all over the west right now.

We staged from Spinreel two days, and South Jetty one day. Avoided the Dunefest completely.

We will probably make this a yearly event. The drive was ~16 hours which I didn't mind, and my g/f's family has a place on Tenmile Lake, so accomodations are easy.

 

From Spinreel south to horsfall, is some if the best duning I've ever done. It's about a 10 hour drive for us but so worth it.

 

im glad yalls enjoy riding there, its a great place to ride and rarely crowded. they have some big hills but not the bigest and yeah. im only 3 hours away but i still dont get ride there as much as i would like to, but im glad you enjoyed it
