So, do they give you a wrist band or something? That's how they do it at Murray. Since it's a state owned park, there's a hefty fine if they catch you riding without one, and decide to be a-holes about it. Always just paid the 7 bucks. (must be some kind of industry standard)

Yep, wrist band. Nobody really got close enough to tell if I was wearing one except at the entrance. They pretty much left us alone to do our thing. The resitrictions could be SO much worse. The state parks require a spark arrestor and state registration. I'd be screwed in both areas.

Ours are registered, but don't have any stickers saying so. So I'd probably be screwed on that too. They only check at Murray going in and out of the entrance. You can ride at night, and sometimes there's not anyone in the booth. Normally you'd just go to their campsite and they'll either give you a band, or tell you to pay on the way out (they might not be there then). But we always check, just to be safe.
Doesn't sound like it's as bad a some people have made it sound out there.

Well, our favorite shootin' and riding place is getting cut back.
My brother in law is putting more cattle out, so he's just asked to stay in certain areas. Not a problem for me. Besides, you really can't see a moist cow pie until it's too late.
He did tell me they cut down the tree my wife hit and shattered her wrist. You would have been proud of me. When it happened, I kept my calm and didn't even ask if the quad was ok (she was on mine), for at least 10 minutes.
