Well, gooooooood morning. It is true, the park is going to be closed. It is also my understanding that it is a 2-3 month wait for a pad to be built because of the oil companies building pads for their oil rigs. So, there will no place to park for the time being. Danny doesn't have the money and even if he did its gonna be a while. But no worries. It will all work out, in time. Just sit tight and go to imperial or little sahara. This is definately the right decision by the county and i support their decision whole heartedly. Judge Leck and the rest of the commissioners know what they're doing and this truly is the best thing. THe COUNTY is now going to enforce no-parking/riding on the side of the road due to danny's persistance of that. So, where is HE going to park? He is the one who ticked off the "dead wood" in Kermit which includes the Sheriff himself. Karma is finally rolling around. If you have any more DETAILED questions email me or pm me. If they are forced to construct a parking lot-- that's going to dig into their profit AND their "prime duning area". They put the cart before the horse...thought they would be able to come in and have everybody lean over backwards to suit their needs and fear their threats. I think they've managed to bite the hand they had hoped would be feeding them!

 

Got to the Little Sahara. Imperial sucks. Pipelines and rusting equipment everywhere. It's unsafe. I wouldn't waste your time.

Whoever is making this little political push shouldn't expect any love letters any time soon, either. You can be mad and say it serves Jimmy Dan right, but WHO does shutting down the park benefit? Sure as hell isn't me.

Is there some hope that he'll sell or just go away so people can tresspass? I don't see things ever getting back to the way they were.

If somebody can tell me different. It would be music to my ears.
