KERMIT, TEXAS - Good news for visitors to the Sandhills Park in Winkler County.
County commissioners decided not to sell the park. However, they are making some changes.
The county will soon be taking out all of the picnic tables.
Back in November, 2005, the Winkler County Commissioners Court started taking bids on the property. That, after getting several reports that kids were drinking in the park.
Commissioners say the park will remain open to the public.
Either the facts can't get straight- or Newswest 9 is a PATHETIC source for information!
