Sir, I can certainly understand your concern with losing your place to ride. However, what about the safety of others? By you supporting Danny financially, you support his actions. And I dare say that you would support a man who would shoot and unarmed duner in the back. Its truly crazy. And then the fact that he was proud of the fact that he thought he hit that young man. And because of what? A LACK OF AN ARM BAND? It really blows me away. He just escalated an already bad situation. Who is going to support this man? Excuse me, this coward. Would you buy a sandwhich from Geoffry Domer? Why not, I bet he's a good cook. "He never really did anything to me, and he seems nice enough, so I'm just going to give him my seven dollars because it IS a really good sandwhich." I mean, this makes no sense. Why would you take the side of a morally bankrupt individual? He lies, manipulates, shoots at people. I mean whats next? Calling in air support to napalm trespassers? RPG'S? Land mines? And just for your information, we do leave them alone. I don't know about you, but if someone calls the cops for trespassing on land he doesn't own just to manipulate you to think you have to pay that damn seven dollars, wouldn't that **** you off? He did that to me. And many other people out there. His"My way or the highway" attitude and bully mindset just cost him a felony. The law stopped working in his favor, and hes not man enough to talk to you one on one, so he felt the need to shoot first and pay the consequences later. And it WILL cost him. I wonder if he thought of HIS boy as he shot at that fathers boy? As a father of a lost child you would think that he wouldn't want that grief and sorrow on anyone. Well, think again. So who really is the bad guys?

 

So true. And he'll claim the ranchers asked him to call the authorities. I highly doubt it. And THAT doesn't explain why he's worked to get everybody booted off of the easement. Bet Rick Perry himself called Danny up to get rid of those pesky duners.

This about KSI controlling the sand. NOT just the portion they paid for....ALL OF IT. It's becoming more and more obvious everyday.

CD dont think that i condone the actions taken by KSI i never think guns are the answer (unless the question is [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]o you have something to hunt with?) all that i am saying by paying my seven dollars is that i have enough DRAMA B.S. to occupy me from mon. to fri. and the last thing that i need is drama on my weekends because i truly do like going out to the dunes and if it turns in to drama then i might as well stay at home and work

 

Maybe it's just my thinking, but...

The state of Texas has considered opening state run orv park. This would be a good area for them to start. It has a history of use, with little complaint (up to now), and there wouldn't be a whole lot to do except parking, camping and possibly showers/bathrooms. Sure they would charge. But at least boudaries would be determined. Ownership not disputed, and an area would be preserved for future riding. Maintanance would be done by the state, so in theory, it would be kept up.

The down side is a lot of private land going back to the state. Possibly lease options could be worked out.

But at the rate things are going, it's an option to look at instead of no riding at all.
