Dunes are still open...it's been in the triple digits the last couple weeks though. Even I.. a hard core duner can't do 110 degrees.

 

Well, with any luck, you may get down in the 90's.

Finally got temps back in the normal range over here (low-mid 90's). But, dang I need some rain.

 

Well they are supposed to be in the low 90's this weekend and we got a nice shower last night and a good chance of more today. I hope we do cause if not then no Fire workies for the kiddos.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

I hope the rain keeps heading east then. Usually gets to the edge of Ft Worth and the dissappears. They already put out a fireworks ban for most of the area. We're heading up to NE Oklahoma next weekend, so maybe we'll get to pop a few off.

Went out with the kids for the first time in forever about 8 last night. 75 degrees! Nice!

Wind or no wind, I was wishing I was at the dunes. I can't take the heat either.

 

we were at a year end soccer party last night - trying to have a cook out when it blew thru 50+ mph!

But we managed to hold everything down and enjoyed the drop in the temp.

Today is a perfect day to be at the dunes...why is it mother nature never cooperates on the weekends?
