OD got a thunderstorm/rain overnight. But, we are in Emergency Status for Fire Ban. Fireworks, Welding and open fires...ANYTHING to avoid burning down. Must have someone on the ground for Shed welding! Living in the county I hope they <u>ban all shooting of fireworks</u>. Wenever enjoy the fourth...out in the yard holding a water hose instead of a cold one...while all around us people shooting off fireworks create a fire hazard to our home, vehicles, toys, animals and property (life). (and leave their trash behind) Of course we can't go anywhere either. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]
A couple of years ago, I sold fireworks and left my sweetie stand fire watch over our home[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Double standard...don't like the fire threat but want to make the $$ off of fireworks sales?? Given a choice...I'll avoid the fire and find another line of $$ non threatening to life and property.

Anybody go to the KKK ralley in Midland the other day??? The best protest would have been to let them demonstrate ALONE. If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it...does it make a sound?!
