Are we ready for another cold spell? I'm locking myself in the house this weekend and catching up on all that fun stuff mommies seem to be responsible for. And take the christmas tree down- I'm way behind- but spending New Years Eve at the dunes was well worth it!

Between a funeral and just not feeling well, ours has been ignored. Hasn't been watered since Christmas, so it's just a bit dry. I did volunteer to at least take the stuff off of it today. Suprisingly, when I checked it yesterday, only the top was really dry.

Maybe I should just keep watering it and use it again next year. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]


DD, why do I get the idea you're reducing the weight of the bags at the local mall?

 

I did all my shopping online for the holidays. Afterwards, I did go into the store for cards, candy and candles.
2 funerals between Christmas and New Years. I did not put up a tree or lights so I'm ahead of schedule for getting the tree down! We did not go riding so there is no maintenance to be done there either!
The new years celebration consisted of meatloaf and black-eyed peas.

Best part is there will still be needles in the carpet thru March!

Great weather today here, but supposed to rain tomorrow and get colder.

Good idea on the order of truck vs tree. I did get the evil eye yesterday from a officer.
