Default New Paddles?

I own a DVX400 and enjoy riding the dunes. Soon i'm hoping to purchase a slipon exhaust and get it jetted w/o the air box lid. My question is this....i am currently running ITP sand stars and they worked good but they wore out a tad faster then i had hoped....and i've heard with more power they go even faster (makes sense) so i was pondering AMS Areospeeds....a couple guys i ride with use them (440ex and 450R) and they look like they wear good....but could i manage to pull them? I could mayb gear it down a tad? i think that would work out good? any other suggestions? O no straight paddles...not out there to race straight lines all the time....enjoy the sidehilling and such as well

Ive never heard of these tires. I would think a quality V paddle would work well for you. First tire id think of is Skat Trak Edge. Id say 6 paddle would work well for you.

When I had a stock swingarm with my Haulers, I couldnt corner\slid. Once I put the longer swingarm, it drifts fine.

That will show you what they be.... and i also thought mayb get a smaller size....Skat trak just seems to pricey for a teenage budget....They look good just need to get 'em with shorter so i won't loose top end by changing out the sprocket? i think it would work....

how the hell did you manage to wear sandstars so fast? I had some and the little nipple thingy's stayed on em for like 4-6 rides. dont even think about skat-trak if you're wearing the sandstars much. they wear about 2-3 times as fast.

Skat trak Hauler 20X10x10. If you are a good rider, then you can still turn just as good with a straight paddle, plus have the benefit of great straight line hook up. Pricey, but worth the money. That is all i use. Look on Ebay for good deals. I have picked up a few pairs for around $100

I know i was surprised when they wore out this fast too. That's why the Aerospeed seemed like a good choice because the paddles can't really fold over due to those two parrallel fins that run with the quad. So would it be a good buy or no?

Lefty31-You asked for suggestions so here is mine and this comes from 25+ years of duning experience.I would go with a straight paddle because....they can turn just as good as an angled paddle with practice, they will get you up a hill faster, they will sidehill better than an angled paddle(yes i said better),if you do any drag racing you will win more. For all of the above reasons i would go with a straight paddle. If you do not want to spend a lot of money the GBC Sand Devil is a decent tire but the Skat-Trak hauler is better although more expensive.8 paddles should be about right for your power and needs.
