What is the best???? I have Skat Trak Haulers (21x12x8). I was thinking of switching to Sand Skate II (22X8X10).
Which has better performance? Do I want a big rim or a small rim? (8 vs 10 vs 12)

depends on the type of riding. if you like draging the hallers are good. for dounuts and playing sand skates are good. I have sand skates and I think they preform really good

If you do much jumping get a smaller rim, I bent both rims on our 400ex, I had 20 inch haulers on 10 inch douglas blue labels and was jumping a razorback so the landings weren't that harsh. I've also bent the red labels on the front of our ds. I've got a set of sandskate 2's that are 6 yrs. old they are on 8 inch itp rims and I have been really happy with them on my 2 strokes in the past but like straight paddles for four strokes. The sandskate 2's are very aggresive when new and they are about as hard to slide as straight paddles. Our 400ex won't make it up chokecherry without straight paddles. Hope this helps.
