Yes b370 you can get race gas at Jim's Sand Toys in Waynoka on Hwy # 281 and I believe it is $35.00 (ouch) for a five gallon can. I do not know of any place for pump race gas and the only way Jim can sell the gas is in the can. I will be at LS, hopefully, this weekend and I will get more details for you.

No return fire from this end. I know LS-Utah is bigger and better, but LS-OK is only 150 miles from home. Your LS is on my "wish list". I am on the Planet Sand news letter and only drool when I think of bigger and better dunes. A group of us do have a July trip to St. Anthony planned. Just to bad we can only make one "big" trip per year.

b370... Missed a couple of your questions. No noise limit..Excessive engine reving in the camp area is frowned upon. The Rangers are great. Strict, but great. They will not tolerate any speeding ect. in the camp area. Obvious intoxication combined with poor behavior will get you a fine. And the biggie , which should be understood is " no glass or alcohol on the dunes. You can ride all night-no shut down time.. So if any one is looking for a good nights sleep, to bad. On weekends it generally quiets down arond 3:00 a.m. I will confirm on the race gas price this weekend.

Below is my link to my site.I don't have any recent pics of Little Sahara Ok.It does show some dunes though.Little Sahara is great to ride. All types of terrain and sand. The locals won't gouge you on parts or anything. Not a problem with having anything stolen either.I go there at least a half dozen times a year.

Duneman:
Thanx alot for the info... I am planning this trip for anyone that would like to join us.... So far most of the people going are good friends from the chat room and a few from the forums. I have done this 2 years in a row for trips to Silverlake Michigan and this year we decided on somewhere new and a little bigger.
Any other info that you can pass on that you think would be helpfull is greatly appreciated.
I noticed on a map that there is an airport somewhat close by.... If anyone was looking for some AV fuel... is it a far drive or do you know if they will sell to the public?

Thanx again for all the help

Well you have to go through SLC Utah from where you're at and St Anthony's is about 4-4 1/2 hours away. When you go through SLC coming from Idaho the dunes are just under two hours south and west from there. It's worth the extra gas and if you like St Anthonys you'll like here as well.

Memorial Day is coming I cant wait. Last year was cool but the rain before the weekend was brutal, even though, the dunes were a blast, rain doesn't really bother sand to much only makes it better.
