Is Silver Lake, Mi. worth going to? Will my stock tires work or do I really need paddles? I don't plan on going here often. THANKS

Yes...And No.. Any Dunes are worth going to just for the expierence. Paddles help, but are not necessary.. Once you have tested the Dunes and find out that you enjoy, then you can consider paddles. If the sand is damp stock tires are great. When the sand is dry paddles are better. Search through past posts in the dune forum and the suspension / tires forum for more info. Good luck and enjoy the sand.

Stock tires will get you around OK as long as there are no long or steep hils you want to go up. Small hills should be no problem. Stock tires are great for sliding around in the sand too.
