I have ridden at Glamis a number of times and really enjoy the area. I have wondered what the dunes off the 8 freeway alomost to Yuma are called and what type of dune riding is to be found there. From what I can see there is camping areas and the dunes look very simalr to how they are at Glamis. Are they as steep or more rounded etc... Though it might be interesting to check out... Thanks for the info.

buttercup is on the south side of hwy 8 . its has some nice dunes that flow very well into eachother , but they are not as tall as what youre used to. also the area is only a small fraction of the size of glamis, and a closed area on the north side makes it that much smaller.
