I was thinking skat trak mohawks probly dont stop the best. I was thinking would it be worth it to take the front brakes off to cut down on drag and wait in the sand. Would the back brakes with paddle tires be enough brakes in the sand?

If your careful & just ride the dunes it might be ok But I use the front brakes on the trails around the dunes we do some fast trail rides. I never had front brakes on my buggie but it was heavier.

If your ONLY going to drag race......removing the brakes will gain you .0001236912 seconds in the quarter mile

Leave them on, I use the front brakes more than the rears at the dunes.
