Pismo on the 20th????
#2
Sorry for going off topic here.
I noticed that you have an '03 Cannibal. I'm thinking about getting one, but wanted to know if they are green stickered or red stickered. Can you please help me out?
BTW, will not be in Pismo on the 20th, but we'll be there thanksgiving! Look for us around post 6, There'll be a big *** motorhome waaay up the beach, where it looks like it shouldn't be!
Thanks,
Marc

Won't be there on the 20th... but WILL be there on the 25th.... we usually camp near marker 5 about 100yards past the bathrooms where they set up the ranger station on big weekends...I have a Coyote trailer pulled by a white dodge... we always camp in the same spot... we'll also be there Thanksgiving. I ride a modified '00 400ex red with a yellow powdercoated frame...cut front fenders.. other fun stuff...If you're on the beach... look me up!

What is the Pismo weather like later in the Fall (like Thanksgiving)?? I have heard locals say when it cools off inland, that is when the weather is best. There isn't such a strong onshore flow, and the fog goes away. What about temperatures???

Karyn - we'll keep an eye out for ya! I'm hoping to be breaking in my new Cannibal rather than wrenching on my sandrail. lol.
YZGUY - Our best trips are usually in the fall and winter. The wind dies, but I've found that the fog is usually worse. It all depends I guess. It does get COLD at night during the late fall and winter though. We had one night there when everyone at my camp woke up the next morning and announced, without talking to each other, that they were going to k-mart to buy more blankets that morning. For us wussy Californians, 20's is damn cold!
