About five of us leave Minnesota in early march to go riding. We were looking for somewhere with monster dunes, large jumps and huge bowls. We have ridden Glamis, Hot Wells in Arizona and Little Sahara in Utah. We are thinking of going to Baja or Pink Coral in Utah!! Thanks for any advice. Its a long haul and we want to make the best of our 10 days!!!!

 

Try Dumont, the weather will be a lot friendlier and the dunes are just what you are looking for.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

If you're looking for the biggest baddest place go to St. Anthony, ID.

 

In march, St. Anthony is too cold,probably snow on you, Utah might be the best, since you were at Lsahara, then Coral pink would be the best, or dumont or Glamis, while it is still open and available...

I agree that St. Anthony is the best if you want REALLY huge dunes but March is cold and snow is possible.

I would say L.S. Utah should be pretty warm and Coral Pink but you've been to L.S. already and Coral Pink isn't big dunes like you're talking about.

That time of year - if you're up for the drive - Dumont and Sand Mountain, NV may be something to think about.

Have you considered making the trip in like May so the weather is warmer?
