I went to a local park in southern Illinois called Little Egypt on Monday. The rocky, rutted trails there would probably remind you of some the technical trails of the Paiute. For the drive(its 77 miles from where I live) its a great place. It had been years since I had been there but its changed little. There is another park about 20 miles further away I might go to soon called Williams Hill Pass. Again, its been several years since I've ventured there as well. Just haven't gotten far from the local trails I ride every weekend. I need to get out more I guess.

Specta is on the Paiute Trail Committee. He's a great ambassador and a hard worker. It shows on the Paiute. Signage is fantastic and the views are great.

Yep.....beautiful pics. I'm glad some of you found this thread. It should get bumped every now and then so it doesn't get left in the dust. Still hoping Specta will add more pics someday.

I went for a short ride the other day and thought you might enjoy a couple of pictures - make sure to check out the short video.

I saw this elk hoofing it up the side hill and knew there had to be at least one more.
I thought it was cool that they kept looking behind them and waiting for the stragglers.
There were 5-6 stragglers that got left behind.
There were at least 60+ elk. An awesome sight for me.

Right after crossing the creeks I saw a Golden Eagle. I love eagles.
I went to zoom in it took off. I felt pretty lucky to catch it in the air.

Bach home and time for a wash job.

The End.
