Default First ATV Purchase! Can-Am Outlander 500 EFI

Hey Guys,

New poster here....I just ordered myself a new Can-Am Outlander 500EFI and have been doing a pile of reading, etc online for the past few weeks.

I came across a deal that was simply too good to pass up. I had my eyes set on a Kawasaki Brute Force 650IRS but ended up being a bit too slow to pick it up, so I ordered the Can-Am as my second choice.

The deal was what made it for me, saved quite a bit on a new bike, but I've never riden the Can-Am and half of me wonders if I made the right choice...lol

Any commnets on the two bikes? Either way looking forward to having a quad. Main use will be hunting and trail riding. No mud, etc other than standard trail stuff.

Congrats on your new machine. I think you will be very happy. It is one of the nicest looking machines on the market. Can Am as far as I am concerned is a quality machine. The Rotax motors are outstanding. Good choice.

Good choice. I think you'll definately be happy with the Outlander 500. It has plenty of power for what you are doing with it. The ride is nice and it is a very capable machine. =)

Thanks TLC....I actually did some searching and found that thread a few days ago.

Bottom line, the price was AMAZING ($6900 CDN), right around $5500USD. The way they price Can-Am up here in Canada it was a deal I couldnt pass up.

Heck, the Brute Force was the same price too, but it went quickly. They had a pile of Can-Am models so I did some research and bought the one that I thought would work best for my needs.

I'm sure just owning a new bike will be enjoyable. For a guy who doesnt do a pile of technical stuff, I'm lookin forward to getting it!

Out of the 500 Utilities it sure sounds like the most fun to ride .

Have fun with it.
