helmet cam

Just got my Hero helmet camera from Go Pro...this thing is sick. I had a cheap handlebar mounted camera before which had a ton of vibration and didn't take very good video. The Go Pro works awesome and takes great video. Anybody else have one of these cameras and have experience in wet weather? It says its is fully waterproof as long as the casing is clean but I was wondering what the video quality is like when its wet. Planning a trip to Hatfield-McCoy and expecting wet weather so I wanted to know.

I have this one and love it!!!!! I have used it on my street bike and have traveled from California to Florida with it mounted on the handle bars. It has been snowed on (that's right SNOW!! and lots of it! Kind of tricky riding a street bike in the the snow) it has been rained on and has been left out to get dew on it. It has neer failed me!

I tried the handlebar trick a couple weeks ago and have to agree with you that there is too much vibration. I'm going to try to put a RAM base, arm, and ball mount for a regular digital camera that screws into the 1/4" threaded mount that comes on most cameras. I'll let you know how it works out if I get a chance to try it.
