Will I have trouble mounting a 21x6-10 tire in place of a 21x7-10 tire. Found a REAL nice set of tires cheap on Craigslist.....but they arent the correct size. If it matter much its on the front of a Honda 200 Fourtrax.

 

I think you will be ok,call a dealer close to you and ask him,or a tire shop
that handles atv tires.

 

Yeah you might have some problems, it depends on the tire...... The rims are 7" wide so technically you can run a wider tire, but running a smaller one might be a problem because the bead may not seal.

A 21x8x10 for example will work on a 21x7x10 rim, it will just bulge outside the rim more.

But I think a 21x6x10 might have a more narrow bead so it might work, or it might not seal well enough.....I think it all depends on the application. I think maybe in some brands that will work and maybe not in others......

 

Down grading will affect your car handling and braking, not by a huge margin.
