Default Should I make an offer?

Need tires for my fixer upper (05 kodiak 450)and I ran across a wheel and tire set in the local paper. Tires are mudlites and wheels are SS ITP's. All I really NEED is a set of rubber but I was thinking of making this guy an offer. I dont ride alot of mud but they got mudlites. I'm new to this but I prefer climbing rocky hills and trailriding. He's asking 550 obo.

I'm always looking for a "deal". Thats how I ended up with the ATV.

Should I make an offer or keep looking for just tires?
Do I really want mudlites for my prefered riding?
If "no" what would you recomend?
What should I offer if anything?

I think I attached a pic. if not I will try again.

Thanks for helping a greenhorn out!

For general trail riding you just need the less aggressive Mudlite "AT"s and you can get a 25" set of them for like $250 or so. SS rims are nice but your 450 comes stock with aluminum alloy rims anyways there just not a pretty,so thats up to you if looks are your thing.

No price is my thing! Not got a whole lot in her and dont want to sink it in ether.

The ugly stock rims look like steel. Bent up like I would imagine steel to bend. Has several bends on the lips that dont look like it would lessen the functionality (if thats a word) but I dont know for sure.

I use a big flat head screw driver and hammer and knock the rims dings out into a more reasonable shape every so often.
