Default Who rides without a helmet?

I won't ride without one, but some folks think nothing of it.

Who here rides without a helmet and why?

EDIT: OOPS!, never mind, found thread where that topic is already covered

I don't wear one because I usually only ride my ATV to get firewood (only a few times so far), use the atv in my small yard moving stuff or when we go ice fishing. I'm not a trail rider yet, but if I do start to ride trails, I'll get helmets then.

An idiot who doesn't mind someone else wiping his (or her) drool after the accident.

Difference between a stunt and an accident?

The stunt rider anticipates a crash before it happens...he may or may not complete the stunt successfully, but at least failure is factored in and prepared for

An accident has no planning or forethought...it just happens, whether the rider is prepared or not.

Have spent some time in an ER, and the stupidest waste of human life was not from drugs or gangs but from folks not wearing protective gear for the sports they were involved in.

In medicine we call people who ride without helmets organ donors.

I never ride without a helmet, never thought of riding without a helmet, and I've got to set the example for my 16 year old son who rides with me, because one day he'll probably be riding with his son.

I kinda feel selfish after reading a few reasons why some of you wear your helmets.

Me, I do cause I didn't buy all the stuff for my wife's next husband.
