I have been learning as I go and have a great project now, I just bent the frame on my 02 Sportsman and am going to swap everything over to another frame.

Picked up my tech skills by helping my dad and uncle work at there shop. From there the motocross/offroad racing help me fine tune the small engine/frame repair.

Still learning. Getting the service manual helps a lot when you're starting out...if you didn't get to learn from dad or gramps.

What I have to keep reminding my self is it's really just a bunch of parts that go together and to not be afraid to try because I'm afraid I'll just make it worse. Man do I sound like a wuss, but an honest wuss I guess.
