Default Looking for a sport atv. 250x or warrior 350?

Since its about two totally atv's. I figured i would get better responses here. Im looking for a sport atv that i can just have fun with. I like a nibble ride. Im almost 5'8 and about 175 lbs. Im 24, so growing is not going to happen. lol. The reason i say that is because im worried that a 250 would be too small for me. Cause i noticed alot of teens, wifes, etc. ride the small cc bikes. Ive spent all of my riding on a beartracker 250, polarsis 600 4x4 and now with a timberwolf 250 2x4 and 4x4. Which all fit me perfect.

The reason im picking between the 250x and warrior is because they are about the only ones i can find around here for way under 1000.

The 88 trx 250x is $600 with stage 2 cdi carb rejet and exhaust. Its in really good shape. Good plastics, frame real clean. But the engine needs valves more then likely cause it smokes a little.

The 02 warrior 350 is going for 850 maybe a little less. It has new top end, carb but needs brakes and the plastics are in rough shape. Someone painted them a grey primer color. No title.

Once in a blue moon i might take it to the track and race during a small event but nothing major. Most of the time it will be around the house. I woud like to ride 2 up sometimes but didnt know if that would work on either. I do however have plans of pretty heavy mods to which ever. Just cause that what i do.

My advice would be to A) plan for putting some $$ into either of those to get/keep them in good running shape and B) don't bother with mods. You can drop thousands into either of those and they won't perform as well as a $2500 Z400. Either one will be a fun ride, but you could save a bit more so you could buy into the 400 class and have a much better starting point. JMHO

I agree with both posts above also. Don't but a bunch on money into a 250x or warrior. Take that money that you would but into them and but it towards a 400. You can even find a 400ex for under $1500 some times in decent shape.
