Has anyone that has any of those Rotopax gas tanks tried painting theirs? I have the red dual interlocking (2 piece) RED gas tanks. I would like to paint them black to match my bike Stealth color. Anyone dones this? Would it last? Opinions? I would hate to spray it with black spray paint only to discover the RED seen thru! lol.....lol

I'm thinking the paint will not stay on very well. That plastic is prone to flaking/peeling. Try a test spot on them and see how it works. If it doesn't seem to hold up you can use some paint thinner to remove it.

 

Well since its plastic what all do most people use to paint over their colors? (Fixes or updates) Isn't there some high grade Krylon spray paint that auto stores sell for plastics?
