Default Oiling new air filter...

I picked up a new UNI air filter for my Kingquad, and i just wanted to make sure i oiled it correctly. I put the whole filter in a ziplock bag and poured some oil in, making sure it the whole filter was covered. Then i got as much excess out as possible. But when i took it out i noticed on the inside of the filter there was still some oil oozing out on the inside, so i used paper towels on the inside to soak some more up. So basically, im wondering if there is supposed to be oil on the inner part of the filter as well as on the outside foam (the part that is able to be removed). Im letting it sit now to dry a little bit. Thanks

Yes you want it oiled all the way through and Yes you want to let it sit and soak a while before installing it.

Thanks for the info. I was just hoping i didnt put to much on there and it was going to get into the intake. I did get a good amount off with paper towels but it seems like it still is pretty sticky with oil. Looks to be good.....i hope
