Hey all,

I need a few accessories and I was hoping to get your feedback before I buy...
Anyone using a Komodo hitch? The kind that gives you a loop, a hook and a ball with the option of adding another ball (I need to have 2 sizes available). It looks like a good idea that will bolt right onto the little hitch plate on my King Quad 450.
Also, any input on a good battery tender? I do want one that offers me the ability to leave the leads on the battery and have a plug to plug at the ready (without having to remove the seat and use the alligator clips all the time).
In terms of where to buy, Amazon seems to allow me to get everything in one order from one place. I generally prefer to spend my money with the smallest business I can, but it appears impractical in this case, unless you have a suggestion?
Thanks all, and I am loving this forum! I should be out riding in a few hours!!

I like the Battery Tender Junior. You can find them for around $20 if you shop the internet.

Default Battery Tender

I use the two bank battery tender...hang it on the wall beside the receptacle and charge both quads at the same time. I use it all winter...nice not to have to switch it from one to the other as you would with the single bank. Both quads have the pigtail connected to the battery and ran out under the seat so no need to remove seat or alligator clips when connecting/disconnecting. Great Product! Mine was a gift so I have no idea what price is right!! Good Luck.

I have the Komodo hitch like the one you are looking at. I made a small modification to mine. I welded a 2" ball on one side and the 1 7/8 ball on the other. That kind of gives me the best of both worlds kind of thing. I've been pretty happy with mine so far.

I remove the batteries out of my 2 ATV's in the winter and store them with a cheap Harbor Freight trickle charger on each that I got for $4.99. I have used them for 4 years and they are still working great. They do have the alligator clips on them, but it would be real easy to cut them off and intall ring terminals.
