Transmission Quest.
#1
Hey guys, i'm a mechanical engineer in college working on a car to compete in the sae baja competition. Lots of info online if you are interested, but basically we build 10hp off road buggies.
Question is: I am looking for a transmission that is stand alone, aka not incorporated into the engine block, and dosen't need any electronic stuff. Multiple speed, shift on the go, and a reverse is key. Also light weight is key. If i could use polaris parts that would be good because they are a sponsor, if you know of another transmission that would work thats great too.
Thanks for your help.
