Default utility quad for fast trail riding

What utility quad would you pick for fast trail riding?
What has the best suspension and handling?
I'd imagine the Renegade XCC and new OL XCC would be hard to beat.
Hows the new Artic Cat S or Polaris XP do?
Any quad stand out over the others.

You pretty much got all the top choices, but I'd also add the Honda Rincon to that list (See Honda guys?? I don't hate you!!)

The XP is great for high speeds, and the Can-Am's are just bad fast. I havent driven an AC in a while, but I know they are sprung heavier, and don't come factory equipped with a swaybar. The Rincon seems like it was designed around high speed hard pack, and handles beautifully.

I'm sticking with my XP though. Great power, awesome ride, and it feels lighter than 800 lbs in the woods. And I already shucked out the big bucks for it.

Anything that is light weight with a long travel suspension with a bore over 500cc's will make for a great fast trail quad! Can-Am Renegade being cream of the crop!

Though I bet the Grizz 700 works pretty well, too, doesn't it D57H??

The Renegade is as much of a Utility ATV as a Scrambler is. I don,t think it even has racks.

There all fast on the trails, if your on a trail that you can go over 40 mph than its must be one dull trail and more like a road.

The trails I ride on a 800 could not leave a 400 behind.

On most of the trails we ride on here in WNY, a guy who sometimes rides with us has a Prairie 360, and he can smoke all of us in the woods, and he can keep up with the occasional sport quad that comes out to play. The rider makes a huge difference in tighter trails. Now once we get out on the fire roads, he's eating dust.

The trails we ride on you may get up to 30 mph for very short spurts here and there. Only on some logging roads you can get up to speed ,but a pickup tuck could too with air conditioning and music playing.

The rider has more to do with it than the machine.

A good rider can ride any atv fast but if you are equal riders and want the edge, which atv would you want to be on?

For a Utility ATV, Outlander 800, same power wise as a XP850 (70hp) with 120lb less weight.

The Rincon would be lucky to keep up with a Outlander 500 or a XP550 with its 39hp 680 OHV mortor.
